Job Description:
Saybrook University is seeking a Student who is eligible for Federal Work Study and is volunteering at a non profit school helping children learn to read.
Under the direction of the Human Resource Director, the FWS Reading Tutor
is responsible for helping children with classroom assignments such as reading and writing.
Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Work with children who need help with learning to read and write performing family literacy activities, mathematics tutors for students enrolled in elementary school through ninth grade
Assist teachers and administration with general office duties.
Position Requirements:
Be a current student in good standing at Saybrook University
Be a current volunteer with a school who is interested in partnering with Saybrook University
Position Qualifications:
Be available to volunteer up to 20 hours per week
