Job Description

Perficient currently has a career opportunity for a strong Lead React Native Mobile Engineer in our Atlanta, GA, office location or remote. As a Lead React Native Mobile Engineer, you will be part of Perficient’s Mobile Solutions practice leading initiatives for Native Mobile Apps, Mobile-Web Apps and larger multi-technology systems for critical, high-profile customers.

Responsibilities**

  • Lead mobile app development and mentor jr developers.
  • Work closely with stakeholders, visual designers, UX Architects, and user researchers to bring web experiences to life. You will build component libraries, templates, and client-side applications that will be deployed across a wide range of platforms and environments.
  • Perficient is developing cutting-edge experiences used by some of the largest companies in the world. You will leverage the latest technologies, tools, and frameworks to produce experiences that push industry standards for accessibility, usability, and performance. We want someone who is excited to learn, try new things, and challenge themselves daily.
  • Contribute to cross-platform and native mobile applications
  • Integrate with our backend services to make sure we are delivering a great mobile user experience that is super-fast for end users.
  • Help improve code quality through writing unit tests, automation and performing code reviews.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and have the chance to contribute innovative and original ideas to our technology, algorithms and product in a highly collaborative, team-oriented environment.
  • Experience or willing to learn mobile DevOps, automated testing, and analytics
  • Equally as passionate about creating beautiful and usable interfaces as you are about crafting elegant code. We want someone who can not only develop amazing experiences, but also collaborate effectively with our best-of-class Visual Design team. Our ideal mobile engineer should have a great eye for detail and design to support their development skillset.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • 8-10 years of demonstrable experience in mobile development.
  • React Native development experience with TypeScript is required.
  • Experience with React and Redux along with sense of observable pattern is required.
  • Must have experience working with Native modules for react native.
  • Experience with best practices for designing Apps with high unit test coverage and simplified test automation.
  • Knowledge of mobile app security vulnerabilities and related mitigations.
  • A thorough understanding of OOP, design patterns, mobile, and enterprise in mobile application integration.
  • Ability to rapidly learn and take advantage of new concepts and technologies.
  • Experience in an Agile environment.

The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $73,008 to $170,640. Please note that the salary range posted reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits or any potential equity or variable bonus programs.
