Public Relations Specialist

Location Details: United Kingdom, Remote

This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings.

This is a PR Specialist role, nested within the Marketing organisation, supporting the international public relations team. This role supports PR Channel activity promoting GoDaddy products and services with external audiences, sharing how GoDaddy can help entrepreneurs and small business owners effectively start and grow their business online.

This person will perform support related functions for the GoDaddy International PR Team as well as provide some support for the broader GoDaddy PR team. This position will be responsible for supporting GoDaddy processes designed to meet deadlines for both our internal and external partners. They will also handle our metrics data analysis. Additionally, this position will be supporting the building of creative presentations with a compelling GoDaddy storyline for leaders across the company. Our ideal candidate should have strong creative storytelling with data skills and be able to drive projects with minimal direction.

We’re looking for a person skilled in using basic measurement tools and dashboards, public relations newswire distribution and measurement services. They should also be skilled in using the full Microsoft Office suite of tools for organising, analysing and running GoDaddy PR Channel assets and resources.

What you'll get to do...

• Stay informed about the small business industry global developments, innovative technologies, and unique opportunities in global media landscapes
• Drive continuous process improvements, adopting a test-and-learn method, and participating in an experimental culture
• Handle various aspects of daily business including global content calendars, review processes, assets development and organization, and metrics tracking to drive consistencies and efficiencies across country initiatives
• Collaborate across global teams to align content and deliverables for use in PR channel for various market initiatives
• Coordinate with business analytics teams for detailed measurement and attribution across marketing channels
• Develop and communicate informative campaign performance reports, emphasising channel-specific metrics
• Manage internal documentation of processes, resource banks and repositories
• Manage newswire, radiowire and other wire service distribution services as used by GoDaddy
• Coordinate aspects of GoDaddy PR Channel processes, including set-up, tracking and follow-up, ensuring a coherent and impactful presence with external partners globally

Your experience should include...

• 3+ years experience in public relations and communications planning and execution showcasing impactful business outcomes
• Proven success in driving business results and establishing clear performance benchmarks in Public Relations and Communications channels
• Knowledge and experience using media measurement tools across digital and traditional platforms, with a focus on public relations
• Excellent project management skills and capabilities
• Adept at balancing multiple campaigns and activities, across multiple global markets simultaneously
• Experience fostering collaboration within in-house teams and external agencies, ensuring cohesive storytelling strategy and execution
• Exceptional communication both oral and written abilities, capable of articulating strategies, insights, and results with internal and external audiences
• Tech-savvy professional with an understanding of basic marketing and public relations platforms and tools
• Problem solver, able to communicate findings across GoDaddy teams and offer potential solutions
