ROLE OVERVIEW
Pivot Energy is seeking a motivated, data-driven leader who can combine analytics, operations systems, and processes to drive revenue operations for a growing portfolio of products. This position will be responsible for the growth and strategy of revenue activities, collaborating with channels across the organization, including finance, sales, client solutions, business development, and operations.
As part of the Revenue Operations team, this position will review, streamline, and optimize processes related to client and subscription products and lifecycles, competitive pricing analysis, forecasting, retention, and risk management. This role will focus on developing and improving processes and systems related to Client Solutions revenue streams, architecting workflows using our in-house customer management tool, SunCentral, as well as systems like HubSpot, Salesforce, and SmartSheets – improving reporting, analytics, and operational efficiencies of current and future markets.

Pivot is rapidly growing its Client Solutions team, and this position will be empowered to build the necessary growth strategy and technology solutions required to meet business needs.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIESDefine and develop a robust revenue operations strategy, including revising or creating processes, data collection, and technology resources to drive growthOversee the collection, management, and organization of key data, identifying areas of growth, security, and quality improvementUnderstand and optimize client- and subscriber-product revenue streams to meet current needs, while developing workflows to capture future engagement, retention, and upsell opportunitiesCreate metrics to support objectives and key results (OKRs) for go-to-market strategies related to sales, products, and operationsCreate and maintain documentation on revenue drivers, collections processes, technology, and training materialsWork collaboratively with accounting, product, and operations teams to establish best practices and build an ongoing feedback loopProvide strategic research on core solar markets assessing customer types, market and product trends, and competitor analysis, to make data-driven recommendations on areas of revenue growth Understand and aggregate state- and program-level community solar regulations as related to financing and credit requirements; consumer protections; revenue optimization; collections; and attrition riskLiaise with structured finance and modeling teams to meet project milestones, including a thorough understanding of utility program requirements, financier portfolio requirements, subscriber agreements PPA terms, etc.REQUIRED COMPETENCIESSolar or subscription-model experienceProven history of managing and implementing processes, including technology and data programsProficiency in HubSpot, Excel, and Microsoft Office suite; Salesforce and business intelligence tools, like Tableau or Microsoft BI are a plusExcellent collaboration, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to build support and influence across the teamAbility to set and meet fast-paced growth targetsAbility to prioritize and manage multiple, critical deadlinesDemonstrated leadership skills, positive outlook, and flexibilityAbility to develop relationships within the organization across functional teamsPREFERRED COMPETENCIESManagement experience overseeing an operations, marketing, or sales team Prior experience in building data-driven revenue strategies and implementing automation through various technology platforms to ensure operational efficiencyABOUT PIVOT
