AutoStore is seeking a Solution Design Engineer to join our expanding team
To facilitate this growth, we are looking for a Solution Design Engineer (System Design Analyst) to join our System Design Team and help us achieve our goals. As a member of the AutoStore specialized System Design Team you will work in collaboration with our sales force in supporting the organisation’s worldwide customer network with technical expertise and know-how.

Location: UK office in Nottingham or remote

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the sales organization with data analysis, designs, and simulations for customer projects.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of data, expertly identify and implement effective solutions, and manage logistics efficiently.
- Review, optimize, and support partners on customer concepts and solutions.
- Support with new releases of tests, improvements, and documentation of design tools.
- Deliver technical training on best practices when using design software to global distributors and the internal sales team.
- Improving internal operations and processes through automation of simple tasks, etc.
- Proactively provide technical support for the sales organization internally and externally.
- This role will require some traveling.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 2+ years of relevant work experience.
- Passion for the logistics and material handling industry.
- Proficiency in data analysis with advanced skills in Microsoft 365, particularly Excel.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken).
- Skilled and enthusiastic presenter and trainer, capable of engaging diverse audiences.
- Innovative, knowledge-seeking and curious mindset.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
