  • The location for this position is virtual/remote based in the United States. **

This is your chance to be part of an in-house Commercial Services team that propels Hilton's sales, revenue management, call center, and analytics functions! As a Director, Managed Marketing Strategy-CALA you will support these areas which are at the core of Hilton's "commercial engine" and are important to Hilton's ability to achieve profitable growth. On the Americas Marketing team reporting to Senior Director, Hotel- Level Marketing you will define areas of opportunity for their portfolio of hotels, providing strategic marketing guidance, driving efficiencies in marketing execution, and providing recommendations into management of property marketing budget allocations. You will collaborate with the Americas Marketing team, CALA Managed Regional Commercial Team, and Area Vice Presidents in the region, to ensure agreement on hotel-level marketing strategy and performance, portfolio needs, and overall portfolio risks and opportunities. **

How You Will Make An Impact

Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique. **

What Your Day-to-day Will Be Like**

  • Oversee direct reports on the Managed Marketing team and in cluster markets and dotted-line marketing accountability of identified on-property marketing leaders.
  • Defining areas of opportunity for their portfolio of hotels, providing strategic marketing guidance, driving efficiencies in marketing execution, and providing recommendations into management of property marketing budget allocations.
  • Create awareness across the Marketing organization to region / hotel-specific needs and create links between internal marketing teams.
  • Ensure alignment between enterprise and hotel marketing activity; provide guidance to a portfolio of managed hotels to optimize efforts.
  • Bring a strategic marketing voice to the CALA Managed Regional Commercial team, complementing that of Regional Sales and Revenue Management.

How You Will Collaborate With Others

  • Collaborate with Hotels, Regional Commercial teams, Area Vice Presidents, and Groups to identify areas of opportunity to drive digital performance and storytell commercial impact to partners inclusive of strategy, and results of corporate-level activity.
  • Coordinate with Growth & Openings Team to ensure smooth hand-off and ramp-up of new openings within the identified support region

What Projects You Will Take Ownership Of

  • Create a collaborative team environment among hotel marketing leaders through training opportunities, new tools, and best practices sharing.
  • Support hiring, and onboarding of hotel marketing leaders where needed within the identified support region.
  • Identify strategic opportunities to lead commercial performance within an identified portfolio of managed hotels.

WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT

You Have These Minimum Qualifications

  • Ten (10) years of professional experience
  • Five (5) years of strategic marketing experience
  • Five (5) years analyzing data, developing insights, and presenting findings.
  • Fluency in Spanish
  • Previous experience influencing and driving strategy in the CALA region
  • Travel up to 50%

It Would Be Useful If You Have

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience navigating a large, matrixed organization.
