As a Senior People Operations Manager at VisitorsCoverage, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and optimizing the employee experience. You will be responsible for leading innovation, sustainability, and fostering an exceptional workplace culture. We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Sr. People Operations Manager to join our team and play a key role in shaping the future of our organization. This person will be managing the existing HR and Administration teams overseeing the goals of the end-to-end employee lifecycle, creating/managing HR processes, and implementing initiatives that contribute to a positive and engaging workplace. The Sr. People Operations Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and the CEO to align HR strategies with business objectives, promote employee well-being, and drive the existing culture initiatives.

This is not a remote position. Candidates must be able to commute to the Santa Clara office. Must be legally authorized to work in the US. No sponsorship will be offered.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

HR Process Optimization:

  • Streamline and improve HR processes to increase efficiency through automation.
  • Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance automation

Employee Engagement and Culture:

  • Collaborate with leadership to foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Develop and implement employee engagement programs and initiatives.
  • Drive initiatives to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Design and implement programs that enhance the employee experience.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation to drive engagement.

Benefits Administration:

  • Oversee employee benefits programs and ensure compliance.

Compliance and Legal:

  • Stay current on employment laws and regulations.
  • Ensure HR practices and policies comply with local and federal laws.
  • Manage employee relations and address workplace concerns.

Strategic Workforce Planning:

  • Collaborate with executive leadership and guide the HR/Admin team to align HR strategies with business objectives.
  • Conduct analysis of current and future workforce needs and develop plans to address gaps.

Talent Acquisition and Retention:

  • Lead talent acquisition strategies to support team recruitment efforts, ensuring a diverse and high-performing workforce.
  • Develop retention programs, including career development and succession planning.

Organizational Development:

  • Drive automation initiatives to enhance organizational effectiveness and agility.
  • Implement change management strategies for organizational growth and development.

Performance Management and Learning Development:

  • Create performance management processes that align with company goals.
  • Develop and oversee learning and development programs to build employee capabilities.
  • Support professional development and career growth opportunities.

HR Metrics and Analytics:

  • Utilize HR analytics to measure the effectiveness of HR programs.
  • Provide data-driven insights to support decision-making and strategic planning.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is preferred, but not required
  • 7+ years of experience in human resources or people operations management roles.
  • Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, technical, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to successfully lead a team and collaborate in a cross-functional environment.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing HR strategies that drive business outcomes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to use data to inform decisions.
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.

The salary range for this position is $145,000 - $170,000/year and is dependent on experience.
