We are looking for the best Technical Writer responsible for localizing our theory and tasks for our Frontend course. You’d be working on Mate academy’s e-learning platform.

Tasks you will cover:

  • Proofreading theory
  • Creating new theory based on our video and scripts & proofreading existing theory
  • Creating new tasks for our students & improving existing task descriptions

What will you need to succeed:

  • 2+ years of commercial experience as a copywriter/tech writer.
  • Ability to communicate technical issues with non-technical users.
  • Portfolio of blog articles, e-learning content, technical documentation etc.
  • Native English proficiency;
  • Immediate availability (the sooner you get to writing — the better!)

Your advantage will be:

  • Basic knowledge of SQL, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS (or other programming languages)

Recruitment process:

  1. Test assignment (you’ll receive an assignment to localize one theory and one task from our platform during the process).
  2. Video HR interview - to save time, we offer to record answers to questions in video format on a prepared platform (15-30 minutes)
  3. Final interview with the Head of Content Production— 30 min.
