Our Digital Strategy & Innovations team is seeking a Lead Digital Product Analyst on their Internal Improvements Tiger Team. The Lead Digital Product Analyst contributes to MSI’s and the Team’s wins by effectively collaborating with business stakeholders and other members of their Tiger Team and facilitating delivery on high-priority projects. Leveraging their Agile knowledge, the Lead DPA drives success through coaching and guiding the activities of the Digital Product Analysts in collecting and documenting end-user business needs and helping to shepherd the development of enhancements and new features through the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
The Internal Improvements Tiger Team are responsible for delivering core capabilities that span across multiple products at MSI. In this capacity, we maintain a strong collaborative, working relationship with core business units and the other Tiger Teams to ensure that we are delivering on the highest value priorities to MSI. It is crucial that we understand the impacts of our work on our internal and external partners. The right candidate will possess a collaborative and inclusive approach to working with others and support our diverse, respectful culture, in line with our Azimuth.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Take on managerial responsibilities for Digital Product Analysts, providing them direction, oversight, mentoring and coaching.
- Build strong product management skills within the team and motivate team members to become vocal champions of their products.
- Contribute to product roadmaps in line with business goals and strategies.
- Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products with recommendations for changes to improve product outcomes.
- Facilitate User Experience mapping in support of design thinking, and create necessary artifacts (e.g. process flows, screen mocks, etc.) as needed to clearly depict expected processes and system functionality.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and DPAs to translate business needs into epics, features, and user stories.
- Work with cross functional, self-organizing teams to maintain a refined backlog that meets the team’s Definition of Ready.
- Champion the development process to ensure high-quality outcomes through an iterative delivery of capabilities.
- Manage intake triage process for new requests coming to the team.
Education, Experience, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:
- 5+ years of working experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Prior managerial experience preferred.
- In depth experience with Agile methodologies and practices
- Strong growth mindset

- Agile certification (CSPO, CSM, CPM) preferred
