General**

• Supervise 2 accounts payable associates, and handle accounts payable and treasury for 35+ communities and corporate entities.
• Input and oversee wire & book transfers for 150+ bank accounts.
• Provide feedback, reviews, and training for team members.
• Ensure adequate SOPs in place for all accounts payable & treasury processes keeping up to date with best processes.
• Work with internal and external parties on related AP and Treasury tasks.

Accounts Payable

• Manage all accounts payable processes, systems, and compliance.
• Ensure compliance for all vendors, including insurance and legal documents.
• Investigate and resolve problems associated with processing of invoices.
• Work with the rest of the organization to ensure timely payment of invoices and timely communications with vendors.
• Responsible for timely payment of recurring invoices, including debt and other owner obligations.
• Ensure correct intercompany entries related to accounts payable.
• Leads the administration of the BirchStreet PO and pay system.
• Supports both the BirchStreet and Yardi systems, used for accounts payable

Treasury

• Responsible for the cash management of all bank accounts – ensuring adequate cash to cover expenses.
• Oversight for 125-175 bank accounts via Bank of America , First Republic, Pacific West and more
• Handles all treasury related functions, including wire transfers, ACHs, transfers of cash to external parties and between the internal bank accounts.
• Ensures all cash transactions initiated are accurately recorded in the financials. Reconciles various accounts by identifying errors in posting or omissions by applying appropriate accounting standards.
• Manages relationships with varied Banks related to bank accounts and services.
• Responsible for setting up and removing any new bank accounts and services, including the completion of bank-required paperwork.
• Ensures adequate risk mitigation related to treasury functions.
• Administers all users in the bank system to ensure appropriate controls are in place.
• Leverages Bank of America CashPro system to automate processes and services.
• Reviews cash needs and communicates as appropriate. Prepares or provides information related to cash forecasting.
• Accountable for all treasury processes and procedures.
