Job Title: Accountant

Work Hours: M-F; 9:00 AM-5:00 PM EST/10:00 PM-6:00 AM PH Time

Salary: 900-1,800 USD per month

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Virtual Bookkeeper to maintain our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. The ideal candidate should have proven experience as a bookkeeper and should be comfortable working with platforms such as Shepherd and Zapier.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
• Maintain a thorough record of the organization's business transactions and financial transactions.
• Verify that the recorded transactions are accurate and complete.
• Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients.
• Develop monthly financial statements that include cash flow, profit and loss statements, and balance sheets.
• Perform data entry and administrative duties as needed.
• Implement bookkeeping and financial procedures based on the organization's current methodology.
• Process invoices.
• Speak to clients of different companies.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the role.
• Has an accounting degree and a CPA.
• Above Average to Excellent Written and Communication Skills; Minor accent is acceptable.
• Proficient in using QuickBooks Online, Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and Office 365 (Outlook, Word, One Drive).
• Proven bookkeeping experience, preferably in a virtual setting.
• Solid knowledge of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles.
• Experience with data entry, record keeping, and computer operation.
• Proficient understanding of reconciling balance sheets.
