Role Overview**
As a Content Marketing Manager, you will be at the forefront of our content creation efforts, responsible for executing content strategies, leveraging data to enhance audience engagement, researching and identifying compelling content topics, and serving as a trusted editor and internal brand advocate. This role is ideal for a hands-on creator with experience producing content for diverse channels. **
Core Requirements And Responsibilities**
Create original, compelling content for various channels and audiences, including bylines, thought-leadership articles, whitepapers, social media, web pages, blogs, video scripts, emails, infographics, and more.
Translate the expertise of Vertafore SMEs and thought-leaders into impactful assets, such as long-form pieces, presentation topics, and pitch materials.
Distill complex and technical concepts into accessible, audience-centric assets.
Manage content projects from ideation to publication, ensuring timely delivery within budget and resource expectations.
Act as a content, brand, and messaging advisor for the Marketing organization, representing on cross-functional teams as needed.
Track and analyze content KPIs and metrics, making improvements to enhance effectiveness. **
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities**
Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with a proven ability to create high-quality content tailored to specific audiences, purposes, and channels.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
Ability to conceptualize content visually as well as linguistically.
Thrive in a fast-paced environment, responding quickly to new opportunities and requests.
Experience driving robust social media engagement is a plus. **
Critical-thinking And Problem-solving Skills, Coupled With Excellent Interpersonal Abilities.**
Understanding of marketing and communication theory and best practices.
Solid grasp of marketing metrics, with proficiency in analyzing data and KPIs.
Previous experience with marketing automation technology (e.g., Marketo) is appreciated.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) expected. **
Qualifications**
BA/BS degree in communication, English, journalism, marketing, or a related field.
4-5 years of relevant B2B content creation experience, preferably in the software or technology industry; 5+ years of experience preferred.
Experience with project management tools like Wrike or Asana is a plus.
Collaboration with designers/creative teams is a plus.
Writing samples required as part of the interview process. Online portfolios are welcome. **
Additional Requirements And Details**
Travel required up to 10% of the time.
Ability to work remotely with a stable internet connection on an as-needed basis.
Located and working from an office location (when required).
Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds.
