As a Sales & Business Development Associate Director for Wolters Kluwer Corporate Performance & ESG – Enablon, you will be accountable for managing the overall sales growth of Enablon Governance, Risk and Compliance (EHS) solution suite and engaging with EHS key functions within our strategic and enterprise targets. Key industries include: Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, Automotive, Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals. You will work directly and collaborate with the North American Sales team to ensure growth of the overall EHS solution suite as well as drive new logo sales. This is a Subject Matter Expert (SME) sales support role focused on revenue growth of a strategic line of business. You will support the sale of our EHS solution suite directly to end users primarily via face-to-face contact and manage complex, global or high-profile sales accounts. You will report to the Director, Field Sales – Corporate Performance & ESG, Enablon.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Engages and builds relationships with client executives that drive improved client experiences and lead to EHS solution sales
- Develops specific sales opportunity plans that expand Enablon’s EHS footprint with existing clients by identifying their needs and mutually creating a value-based growth plan
- Targets and engages with selected companies for the development of new EHS sales opportunities
- Manages and aligns with new and existing client decision cycles and works with our sales team to win new logos and expand within existing accounts
- Cooperates with the internal team to produce sales presentations and proposals that are compelling, differentiating, and consistently produce expanded bookings
- Maintains Salesforce.com (CRM) accurately with pipeline and activity information while accurately communicating a short term and long-term forecast
- Continually learns and expands knowledge of the GRC, EHS, ESG and operational risk markets including emerging business risks and innovative solutions
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing/Professional Selling or equivalent relevant experience; MBA preferred
Minimum Experience:
- 10+ years of EHS industry work in one or more areas (eg. Sales, Project Management, Risk/Compliance, Safety etc.)
- Subject-matter-expertise in one or more areas of Enterprise EHS platforms with an external reputation within the EHS industry
- Creating compelling EHS value propositions
- Demonstrated experience in creatively solving client EHS business problems
- Proficiency with engaging with people at all levels of an organization
- Managing high-level contract negotiations with C-level executives
- Demonstrated success at penetrating new accounts
- Proven experience meeting or exceeding sales and revenue targets
Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:
- Excellent technical and non-technical communication skills
- Excellent presentation skills including experience with organization and planning
TRAVEL
- Approximately 30-40% annually
Compensation:
Target salary range CA, CT, CO, HI, NY, WA: $147,200-$208,350
This role is eligible for Commission.
