McGraw Hill has an immediate opening for a detail-oriented and self-motivated Associate Inside Sales Representative . This individual will support a large volume of smaller Inside Sales accounts in order to maintain and grow revenue. The Sales Associate will have a designated territory, quota, and customer base. The individual will have multiple state assignments and report to the district manager. Candidates can live anywhere in the US and must be flexible on hours. **

This is postion is 100% remote and candidates can be located anywhere within the United States.**

Your contribution to the team includes:

  • Attain and surpass sales goal with the proven ability to “advance” the sale and build customer relationships to maintain and expand market penetration.
  • Develop understanding and knowledge of McGraw Hill Prek-12 programs.
  • Minimum of 80 prospecting calls per week.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline.
  • Prioritize customer base and ensure availability, visibility, and promotional activity with respect to that base.
  • Proficiently use and adapt to multiple software programs, platforms, and devices.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining customer profiles, build new contacts/customers, identify and influence customer needs.
  • Communicating internally and externally to influence sales.
  • Work remotely fulltime with up to limited travel.
  • Targeted customer outreach to build and maintain pipeline.
  • Closely work with management on activities.
  • Work lower-level opportunities to increase our capture rate among the “D” accounts.

What you’ll need to be successful:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; must be able to work in a collaborative environment.
  • CRM experience preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills and experience.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Sales or Sales Support experience preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Embody the work ethic and personality that thrives in a fast-paced culture with shifting priorities.
  • Microsoft software skills: Outlook and Power Point (basic), Word and Excel (intermediate).
  • Displays and acts with initiative, integrity, and professionalism.

_The pay for this position is $45,000 annually, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sales commission plan may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical and/or other benefits, depending on the position offered. This information is provided per the Colorado Equal Pay Act.
