We are looking for:
We are currently seeking an experienced copywriter to work on our client’s user experience and product team. Working with a UX Designer team, we’re looking for someone who’s able to create, edit, and produce compelling writing that provides customers with a clear, engaging experience within our client’s platform.
We’re after someone who’s versatile both producing and creating, working with others and working solo — as well as someone with the ability to respond quickly to feedback and think on their feet, effortlessly able to change direction while keeping their eye on the big picture. The position will be remote, so keeping regular lines of communication open with the team throughout the working day is essential. The team works closely together, so the work is highly collaborative, and the ideal candidate will be comfortable with a shared process. The ideal candidate will have also worked extensively with designers, art directors, and other creative professionals, as well as being able to work closely with clients and strategic planners.
This position is remote temporary part-time for at least a 6 month engagement with opportunity to extend.
Qualifications & Experience:
- An accomplished copywriter with 5+ years experience
- Experience working in a UX or Product environment, preferably with an agency or large brand
- Experience writing with a good sense of engagement and warmth, with particular experience writing in an informal, yet professional voice
- Experience in multiple fields: short to medium form video, copywriting for websites, collateral, advertising, etc.
- Firm grounding in U.S. English style (AP Style, Strunk & White, etc.), usage, grammar, and punctuation. Familiarity with standard style and usage guides
- Experience with a variety of formats (e.g., video, social media), with the ability to identify emerging trends in communications
- Exceptional portfolio of creative work
- Strong understanding of marketing strategy and campaign development
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding collaborative environment, possess a high level of intellectual curiosity, and demonstrate strong judgment in the face of ambiguity.
- Receptive to constructive feedback and problem solving
- Ability to be scrappy and treat every assignment as an incredible opportunity
- Exceptional portfolio of creative work
- Strong understanding of marketing strategy and campaign development
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding collaborative environment, possess a high level of intellectual curiosity, and demonstrate strong judgment in the face of ambiguity.

Compensation & Benefits:
Compensation range for this position $45 - $52 hourly.
