We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Technology Product/Equipment Salesperson to join our dynamic Alpha sales team. As a Technology Product/Equipment Salesperson, you will be responsible for selling a wide range of technology products and equipment to a diverse customer base. Your primary focus will be on identifying potential clients, building strong relationships, and closing sales to meet or exceed targets. In addition, you will have the opportunity to define and implement a larger product/equipment strategy for Alpha based on market analysis, customer need, and Alpha business goals with consideration for both traditional and online sales approaches.

Key Outcomes Year 1

  • Demonstrate a clear understanding and develop a perspective on the current product sales environment.
  • Identify and gain knowledge and expertise on key products.
  • Identify and build customer list and target accounts then employ the activities needed to put a strong sales pipeline place.
  • Gain a deep understanding of Alpha’s story and our solutions in order to successfully showcase our offerings in a compelling way to prospects and customers.
  • Successfully learn and manage opportunities within our ERP system Q360 and HubSpot Sales Hub.
  • Drive sales revenue and market share by managing a vertical market to achieve quota and contribute to overarching company strategy and goals.
  • Ability to achieve monthly and annual sales goals through ongoing monitoring, management, and analysis of market conditions and sales and marketing efforts.
Qualifications

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and prospect potential clients across multiple vertical markets/sectors who have a technology product/equipment need.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our product/technology equipment offerings, staying up-to-date with the latest trends and product knowledge then leverage that knowledge to grow sales with new and existing clients.
  • Conduct effective product demonstrations and presentations (as needed) to showcase the features, benefits, and applications of our technology product/equipment and benefit of partnering with Alpha.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their specific needs and providing appropriate product recommendations.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with customers to secure sales agreements, while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to coordinate sales strategies, promotions, and customer support activities.
  • Generate accurate sales reports and forecasts, providing regular updates to management regarding sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
  • Stay informed about industry developments, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to effectively position our products in the market.
  • Continuously strive to meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall growth and success of the organization.

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in technology product/equipment sales or a related field, with a track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Strong knowledge of technology products and equipment, including but not limited to software solutions, audio, video, and broadcast production technologies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport, negotiate effectively, and resolve customer concerns.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze customer requirements and recommend appropriate technology solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in using sales management software, CRM systems, and other relevant tools.
  • A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred, but not mandatory.

 

Other Requirements

  • Up to 15% travel for onsite-based/30% for remote-based
  • Occasional evening and weekend work.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

 

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to enter text or data into a computer or other machine by means of a traditional keyboard or 10-Key.
  • Clarity of vision at approximately 20 inches or less (that is, working with small objects or reading small print), including use of computers.
  • Clarity of vision at 20 feet or more.
  • Ability to express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word to impart oral information to clients or the public and to convey detailed spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly.
  • The ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech both in person, by telephone or other technology.
