The Role
We are seeking a seasoned Product Manager III to lead the development and strategic direction of JoyCompass, our new initiative to build an innovative financial wellness platform. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the fintech industry, with a specific focus on digital banking services and financial education technologies. This role requires a strong technical background, exceptional market research skills, and experience in developing user-centric products that facilitate effective cross-selling strategies.
This position pays between 130k - 145k CAD per year.
In this role, you will:
Conduct comprehensive market research to identify new trends, technologies, and potential features that align with JoyCompass’s strategic goals.
Develop detailed user stories and personas that reflect the needs and expectations of our diverse user base, focusing on enhancing financial wellness and engagement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and roadmaps, ensuring that technical solutions align with business objectives.
Lead the ideation, technical development, and launch of innovative features that integrate seamlessly into the existing platform while exploring new opportunities for growth and engagement.
Act as a liaison between the technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex concepts into actionable plans.
Prioritize product backlog and coordinate with other product managers and owners to ensure timely and effective implementation of the product strategy.
Measure and analyze product performance and user engagement, iterating based on feedback and evolving market dynamics.
Stay abreast of regulatory compliance and ensure that all product initiatives adhere to relevant laws and ethical standards.
What you bring:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management within the fintech or digital banking industry.
Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.
Strong technical proficiency, with experience in digital banking services and financial technology.
Demonstrated ability in conducting robust market research and transforming findings into successful product features.
Exceptional ability to create detailed user stories and manage large, complex product portfolios.
Experience with financial education platforms and implementing cross-selling strategies is highly desirable.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, capable of motivating and directing teams and projects.
Agile/Scrum certification or experience working in an Agile environment is a plus.
