AWS DevOps Engineer

Requirements:

• Sr. level experience as AWS DevOps Engineer + experience with AWS tools and services
• Experience migrating risk and/or financial applications to AWS is HIGHLY preferred. Must have application migration experience at a minimum
• Scripting experience to automate infrastructure tasks (Python, Bash, or PowerShell)
• Experience working with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with Terraform of CloudFormation for provisioning and management of infrastructure
• CI/CD pipeline and tools (Jenkins, Git, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, etc...)
• HTML, CSS, React, Node, Python, SQL
• AWS Certs highly desired

AWS, Front End development (Vue, HTML/CSS, Node.js, SQL, Python, PowerShell, Container Orchestration including Docker, Kubernetes, Windows PowerShell)

• Knowledge of AWS Services: proficiency in various AWS services such as EKS, EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, and others is essential for deploying and managing infrastructure in AWS Cloud.
• DevOps Tools: familiarity with popular DevOps tools like Jenkins, Git, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, and Terraform is necessary to automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes.
• Scripting and Programming: proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, enables the creation of custom automation scripts and development of infrastructure-as-code solutions.
• Networking Concepts: understanding of networking concepts, including VPC, subnets, security groups, load balancers, and VPNs, facilitates the design and implementation of reliable and scalable network architectures.
• Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting: strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills are crucial to identify and resolve issues related to infrastructure, security, performance, or scalability, ensuring smooth operations and timely resolution of incidents.
