Roles & Responsibilities

9+ years of software development experience with at least 2+ years focused on test automation and frameworks.
Proficiency with at least two test automation frameworks (e.g., Cucumber, REST API, Protractor).
Proficiency with Git and other version control systems, including branching, commits, rebase, code reviews, and merging.
Experience with progressive test automation techniques (BDD, POM, OOP), test containerization and parallelization; experience automating UI, API, and backend services; familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).

Requirements:

Lead automated testing efforts for omni-channel programs and large projects as a senior lead, coordinating with offshore resources.
Act as an individual contributor and perform hands-on automation development and execution.
Develop and maintain robust automated test suites across UI, API, database, and performance tests; implement BDD and POM patterns.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, communicate status and risks; support continuous integration and deployment pipelines.

Job description

Position: Senior Automation Tester
Location: Remote
Duration: Contract
Rate: DOE

Job Description
This is a senior lead position role for omni channel team responsible for automated testing on large programs or multiple concurrent projects.
This is an individual contributor and will require frequent communication with offshore resources.
Core Skills
-9+ years of software development experience with at least 2+ years focused in automation and frameworks.
-Demonstrated proficiency with test automation frameworks like- Cucumber / Rest API/ Protactor- ( any two frameworks is fine)
-Proficient with version control systems like Git.
-Familiar with progressive test automation techniques like BDD (Behavior Driven Development), POM(page object model), OOP(object oriented programming), test containerization, test parallelization.
-Proficient with source control management techniques including branching, commits, rebase, code review and merging etc.
-Test Automation experience in a Retail environment (preferred).
-Experience automating tests for various types of testing: UI, Integration, API, Database, Load, Soak, Performance etc.
-Experience with automating Web applications, backend services, REST interfaces, third party integrations.
-Familiar with at least one public cloud interface like AWS/GCP/Azure.
