QA Automation Tester (OTT & Roku Digital Automation Testing)

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Tester with at least 4 years of experience in OTT (Over-the-Top) and Roku Digital Automation Testing. You will be responsible for designing and executing automated test scripts to ensure the seamless performance of digital platforms. Proficiency in Node.js is essential for this role, as you will be working closely with developers to build and maintain automated test frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for OTT and Roku applications.
• Collaborate with development teams to design test plans and identify testing requirements.
• Troubleshoot issues in automation testing and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure consistent quality and performance of digital products.
• Report defects and work with teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Participate in Agile and Scrum ceremonies to enhance testing processes.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends in OTT platforms and automation testing tools.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in QA Automation Testing, specifically in OTT & Roku platforms.
• Proficiency in Node.js for automation testing.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or any similar tools for OTT & Roku.
• Strong understanding of OTT platforms, streaming technologies, and related testing strategies.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in cloud-based environments.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and Postman for API testing.
• Basic knowledge of JavaScript and/or Python.
